first off a bit of decent value in the "first elimination"...

Sat, 10 October 20:00 Back Lay
    Kandy Rain 2.92 3

    John and Edward 3.5 4.2

    Rikki 8.2 16

    Rachel 8.2 16

    Miss Frank 11.5 13.5

    Lloyd 15.5 24

Its normally done on bottom 2 in the public vote sing again, then the judges decide.

with this in mind, if John and Edward are in the bottom 2, everyone except louis will vote them off, so 3.5 seems great value here.

Like a Star @ heaven Like a Star @ heaven

    Also, the overall winner...

    Lucie 4.7
    Stacey 6.4
    Danyl 6.4
    Jamie 7.4
    Olly 9

Jamie looks great value here, under simons wing he should do very well.

I like olly obviously cause of his first audition but since he has not been so good although i reckon with Simon (who likes him a lot otherwise he would never have got through that group) mentoring him and chosing the correct songs for him he could be up there.

He appeals to the wider audience and not select groups of people. I tip olly anyways.

Joseph is a simpering little annoying toerag. I don't know how you think Jamie can't win as he along with Lucie and Stacy have to be my pick for the top three.

I just copy and pasted the top 5 for the betting from betfair. so he just wasnt in the top 5.

Winner is defo jamie or Stacey.

Erm Joseph? I had to stop a min to remember who he was.

And all the groups were pretty bad.

Jamie, Stacey, and daniel were a league ahead of everyone else.

ok m8y I'll take that bet...

    last longer, $50.

    I'll have Jamie and Stacey.

I take it if EITHER of them last longer than Joe then I win $50 from you, and if NEITHER of them go further than Joe then I owe you $50? Just to make sure of the terms Wink

One other caveat - Bet is void if our runners drop out for personal reasons - i.e illness/death/etc - I don't want to take $50 from you just cos Joe nearly dies of swine flu or something LOL.

I'll accept transfer from wherever you like, tho I'd prob prefer Stars to Doyles. In the unlikely event of Joe beating Stacey and Jamie, I'll prob use Stars if thats ok with you.

Oh, tonights performances - Jamie was fcking AWESOME. Joe, Ollie and Danyl were the other standouts, worst were Miss Frank, Lloyd, and those twin twats.

Although I have to admit that the twins WEREN'T the worst perofrmance of the night, Lloyd absolutely murdered his Leona track. Jon and edward were actually pretty funny, tho it was dire lol.

Jamie was the stand out by a country mile last night. Ollie was on fire too. Stacey is just great whatever she does but I must insist those twins are shot at the earliest opperchancity.

I don't know what it is about Joe but I freakin hate that little nob. He simpers and fawns around the place and drives me nuts.

Rachel is garbage and will be in bottom 2 again and Dannyl is a really annoying bloke who will not make top 5 possibly 6.

Great to see Dannyl in the bottom two and if Cheryl had any sense she would've got rid of the annoying toerag.

It seems that a lot of people find him as annoying as me if he couldn't push some of the poor performers on Saturday into the bottom places ahead of himself.

The twins are a bit like a melanoma they grow on you whether you want them to or not. scratch

Stacey and Lucie just keep getting better and Lloyd will saved by the teenage gang of girls he has following him. Jamie is pure class and despite a poor performance on Sat he has the likeability factor which Dannyl doesn't.

If I am so clueless then how did he end up in the bottom two?

If you are going to be a star these days you had better have a likeability otherwise you will struggle.

Dannyl may well get a "deal" but in my opinion he is not and never will be a recording artist. His deal will probably be on the west end stage as this is pretty much where he would be best suited.

Pop star? Never in a month of Sundays m8.

There have been plenty of amazing singers on X-factor, and all but a few have gone on to do nothing whatsoever. It's a sad state of affairs, but in the music industry, popularity is what really counts.

I like danyl, i think he's an amazing singer, and a great performer. He was my 2nd favourite from the auditions, after Mr Afro. He seems like a nice guy.

However, finishing in the bottom 2 just shows what popularity means. His performance was easily in the top 3 on the night, no question. But on a night where both Lloyd, and Jon & edward got more votes than him, somethings wrong.

Either the voting is rigged, or the public dont like him. He's going to have to do something amazing to turn this around, but as of right now, theres no chance of him getting a recording contract. Unpopular singers DO NOT sell records, end of.

I can see him in the west end tho, and doing very very well there.

I tend to stop watching the show after the auditions (the funny bit) so I've no clue what you're all on about to be fair! All I want to add is that I agree with Rick's fiorst statement "very few make it".

The only singer/group etc. to come out of any of the talent shows worthy (IMO) of anything decent is Leona. What an amazing voice and perfectly-poppy! (You like my made-up phrase?). not worthy

As for all the rest ... not listening
