    1) Learn Omaha/Omaha hi/lo to an acceptable winning/profitable standard

    2) 3 major purchases via poker i.e say a holiday a car and a jet ski or whatever i think i need or want at the time

    3) Never really bothered with bankroll management so gonna stick to one and play by it so i dont go wasting money on silly games/qualifiers

4)Qualify for the ladbrokes poker cruise. (This could count in number 2)

They actually have Ladbrokes cruise gags for those who have been the worst online offenders and they MUST wear them at the tables!

    These just poker ones then?

    1) Play some poker
    2) Learn anger management
    3) Go on then, I suppose I'd best try for this cruise - do they take 4 kids?

So nearly a year on since this was posted and i suppose time to reflect as to what sort of year this has been for poker.

I did learn omaha and hi/lo to a better standard where i could make a few dollars but got bored playing it because of the brain strain and lack of tournaments which give a sizable return for the energy i felt i was putting in. The one game of note that i did play was one of the Ecoop omaha's that i qualified for. The 1k one. Ultimately i lost in it very close to the bubble for 2k odd after gettin em in good only to be river fcked. oh well maybe try some more next year.

Of the 3 major purchases i did make 2 of these in the holiday to Egypt and the purchase of a jetski late in the summer but failed to sort a car although the good news is poker has paid for it i just havent parted with the cash. No mistake as im waiting now till the new year when i know what i purchase will obviously become cheaper given the fact it will be a year older.

I have stuck to bankroll management throughout the year to a certain extent. Did i make any more money from it ? I dont think so really not much has changed.

Any lastly qualifying for the ladbrokes poker cruise, well i didn't even try as i have abused all my holidays from work already. Maybe try for the WSOP this year for the first time ever.

So successful or not ? I am pretty happy with how things have went but id like to up the ante for next year and actually set an actual pound value as to how much i make but that will do for another thread nearer the time.

What about the rest of you punks hows it been ?
