    Hi all

After a really horrible period of being stuck in no mans land and not sure which direction to take after failing miserably in cash games (breaking even at the micros and then slowly tilting it off)

Ive gone back to SNGs and in the future aiming for more MTTs!!

So its back to basics for me and ive taken a really nitty approach to the 18 man SNGs on FT, although its a small sample size i would really appreciate any words of wisdom etc to help me along.. im gonna post below some of my HEM stats which may help you give me some advice!!

Thanks a lot in advance if you post any thoughts, much appreciated.

    Hey buddy,

I thinks seeing as your playing low stakes, you should play turbo STT's like 6 or 10 people as this will give you a lot of experience of tournament situations in a short period of time. I'd also stick to either just cash, or just tournaments they are very different games and you need different mindsets.

And (maybe at the same time if you can multi table) one or two big MTT tournaments, like 200 people+ where you can potentially make a big scoop if you have a good tournament.

The turbo STTs are good practise because you meet a large variety of situations (i.e. big stack with small blinds, medium stack with medium blinds, last 2-3 players with big blinds, being short stacked, being chip leader, etc.) that are good practise for when you are in a big tournament.

    Hope this helps

HM will track all the hands you play, and all the players you play against, Profit and Loss, and filters to find leaks in your game with a heads up display on the playing table of there stats (stats will give you an idea of there style)

    Thanks EVO

Ive been 4-6 tabling so far and going to continue with that for now. I want to put in a nice volume around the $3 and $7 buyins to see what my true roi is before i start opening more up, what do you think?

92 is a small sample still but in the lower stakes there is not only the level skill to learn but the players also as you will find the same guy's in the next level or 2 up, so data collected on them is great value, only thing I'd say is monitor your ROI as sessions the more you play, a constant lower of it over several session is a sign of becoming complacent at the level and time to move up.

For SnG's "overated" is ya man for advice really
