ipoker cash tables have been driving me crazy recently - ever since the update last week there's a 5 min pause every few minutes

Are you still grinding the cash tables, Evo? Have you had a crack at the stars Hilo yourself? With half-term coming up soon I'm looking forward to playing the $5k guaranteed on PS (the $20 one). Going to load up a load of tables and go crazy!

Hi vad,
done very little over last 8 weeks as been involved in a business start-up, was supposed to have been a hands on early to get rolling venture then back seat; but seems to have come tad more full on lol
Still been good fun getting back into the swing, know they only got me on board coz I like to wrap bank managers and venture cap peeps around my little finger, if it was anythong but business i'm sure i#d be arrested as con man !!!! lol
Pokers taken a back seat a little, but been clocking a few hours on HiLo 2/4 Ftilt (little cash action on stars) and the sunday majors on stars; that said got raped last sunday in the $215 NL HiLo.
\GLGL in the games mate, if ya want a few odd spots then drop me a PM

Re: ipoker 1/2
I'm finding it tough to get back into it to be honest, mate. Things have conspired to make my time demands even more demanding!
I played a few games the other night but I still haven't the passion I once had for the game - until that returns, it's doubtful I'll ever get back into the game properly.

You will mate, most good players do ;-)....
Loose the passion a lot more since plying for bread and butter, every 6 or 7 weeks just becomes another job !!...

Re: ipoker 1/2
Think I'm going to have to start playing again. I can't find the money for Christmas shopping and I don't fancy getting a second job so I'm going to give the poker another chance. I know it's harder than ever to make money at the game but hopefully with some discipline I can make a good go of it.
See you a the tables, fella.
PS - does anyone know of any big Hilo games coming up soon I could have a crack at?

Oh I fancy that one! Have to try and win the bloody $10 nightly F/o on FTP first to get some FTP money. It's a real struggle.

Re: ipoker 1/2
Well that FTP $50k $33 Buy-in, turned out not to be a re-buy, but some kind of STUPID 3min turbo game (use the word game very loose term in this case)why the feck use the "R" tag, when most sites it means re-buy gggrrrr.
Hey ho, what can ya do eh !

I take it you didn't win then, lol! Kind of removes all the play out of a tournament with 3 min blinds - guess that's why I like them (in Hold-em) lol!
Keep at it, Evo.

Re: ipoker 1/2
lol, really bad structure, I was luck to have any chips to start as joined 20mins after start, thinking it was RB, was only when I sat down and tried to re-buy that I found out with 1400 start stack....fanbloodytastic
finished 400 and something, didn't pay any attention to be honest, HATE TURBO's never mind STUPID TURBOS.
Been trotting well for the past 6 weeks on stars, just can't make 1st, 4 x 2nd's and 11 FT's, although to be fair I really GUFFED 2 of them over playing a poor start range for no great reason, then getting locked into the flop for even less reason
Still money wise been V good.

Is this the $100 on Stars? Closest I'm going to get nowadays is the Monday night Omaha on Ipoker. My sponsorship company has let me do this now even though my normall levels are 10-20. Guess I impressed them with my Omaha lol!
