As much as i hate myself for saying it but i have to say this game is growing on me.

I been flirting some with it this week and been doing ok but i obviously need some more experience so next year i'm setting myself aside a seperate hi/lo bankroll to see if i can make any money from the game or indeed if i can continue to understand and like the game.

So next year all you hi/lo punks gonna get an ass whoopin as i aspire to be the king of it king

it's a great game mate, far more intricate and skilful than a lot of holdem players give credit for.

also a growing range of good quality tournaments too.good luck!

Be prepared for some hideous swings of fortune in this game m8. I've turned a good profit with it of late but it only takes one bad run to turn a lot of hard effort into mush! I had one of those just recently and it is not an easy thing to take. Biggest thing I would say to you is remember before the start of EVERY hand to tell yourself it's a POST flop game. It's very easy to get carried away in a raising frenzy while sitting AA23/4/5 double suited and then watch the flop come down 9TJ rainbow against an opponent holding high cards.

Good luck though m8 it's an enjoyable game.

Hi m8, hi lo or regular flavour? I have played regular PL quite a lot and last night I played in a live one, only my 3rd live game in about a year now.

£40 2nd chance, deep stack, as per usual bubbled. Went out in a typical Omaha style as well :-)

This for me sums omaha up Sad

Me on BB: Ah Qh Qd Kd

    Button (good player) pot raise
I re-pot (totally card dead for ages and only about 6 BB's left so no folding here)
    He all in
I call as he has been creative to say the least

    He shows 4h 5h 9d Jc

I think you can guess the rest. Needless to say t was the 3 on the river that sealed my fate, really sick!!

Not meaning to hijack your post with my bad beat but I think this shows quite well how it can typically go.

Good luck with your venture though cheers

Ul AGAIN swish. I've seen many of your games m8 and I don't think I've seen as many nasty beats for one guy in one discipline for a long time. Don't give up tho m8!

It's definitely, definitely,a post flop game and should be treat as such.and dont fall in love with a2,amazing how many times i see people committing their whole tourney on a draw to half at best.Used to do it constantly myself lol,and learned the expensive way lol
