Live Game - Epic mug-off!

This is one of my favourite bad beats. It happened in a live MTT I was playing at my local card house. The situation is as follows:

£30 Freeze-out, 60 runners, down to about 30. Blinds are 150/300.

Due to a combination of bad luck and timid play on my part I was down to about 2500. So basically looking for any reasonable hand to push with.

The action folds round to me in mid-pos and I have

That will have to do! So I push, and to my dismay the BB calls and turns over

Flop comes

No help whatsoever. At this point I'm reaching for my jacket ready to make a swift dart for the exit.

Turn:

A little tease just to get my hopes up.

River:

Mina mina mina! My opponent in the BB looks utterly disgusted. I mutter my apologies whilst trying to stop myself announcing the most hurtful of words.... "Outplayed!" Even though I somehow maintain my composure, I get the distinct impression that the whole table wants to lynch me!

To make matters worse one of the other players tells the table that he folded the other 9. So after the flop there are only 2 cards that can help me and I hit them both!

Nice to be on the right end of it for a change!

I remember a live game, needing 1 to go out before final table, and i pick up 99 in the bb. the 2 shortest stacks at the table shove all in before me, im quite stacked, so i call for a shot at them both.

The shortest guy turns over JJ, and the other one has 99. so we got erm, zero outs. Until i hit a 4 card flush to my 9 haha

hmmm this is a couple of years ago at riley's, only a 10 frz or something, just funny lol. Whats the AA JJ thing?

Looking back i prefere the bad posts where i rant, it gives me something to learn from :-)
