Paris is beautiful. The people may be "foreign" but that didn't stop me enjoying the city to its full. I proposed to my fiancee there and we spent a lovely few days combining my work with some excellent food and sight-seeing. It certainly beats anywhere I've been in England. It's a bit pricey but with a 5 day Paris Pass of Ebay, it made it worth it.

You should try it some time.

For the APAT event -

APAT has published the teams chosen to play in the forum team championship, unfortunately "Sharkpoker" did not make it, there were a lot of entries for a limited number of places.

They have even dropped the team size to 8 to try and include as many as possible.

However, I am a moderator on the "Pokerplayer" magazine forum and we might have a couple of seats available on the team there if people are intereested, let me know.
