I guess the only way that hand would have turned out any differently is if you've raised up a juicy amount pre. Out of interest Rick why did you limp with 5 players to act? Were you hoping for a raise from one of them to then re-pop it? Not questioning your play (how very dare I ) just interesting to hear your thinking on that hand. I get so sick of being outdrawn by raggy aces that I now never dare limp with pairs like that, maybe that's wrong?

I been having a torrid time last 2 days, can't win a race, constant outdraws or big pairs walking into over pairs!

By the way... what is this dream team thing? Seen it mentioned loads of times on the 'other' forum?

got that up to 30k, but then card dead and out in 21st

swish - i had quite an agressive table, and felt there was a decent chance of a raise behind me, as it was i didnt get what i wanted, but did get a great chance to take a big pot anyway with set v set, unfortunately he caught a nice saver card and got the double lol. Id also limped and min raised a lot of pots, so the limp wasnt too suspicious, worth a go...

OK, thought as much. I did that recently on an uber-aggressive table, limped UTG+1 with aces, knew for sure a big raise would be forthcoming. Ermmmm, not! 6 limpers for a nice family pot. 9TJ suited flop, had to let them go on turn, won by J9.

The limp actually almost worked out perfectly for you there though. Once your flop has come you're loving it and getting all his chips I imagine. Very ul!
