Hello All

Hiya all, I'm Grant, 25 years young, from Slough in Berkshire, England.

Saw the facebook group for this site and thought i'd come and see what it was all about. Have to say, seems like a fantastic little site and relatively new from what I can see, but potential looks fantastic.

I've been into and playing poker for around six months, after going to Vegas with my dad last summer (he qualified for WSOP 08 online) and I went along for the trip, didn't even know how to play the beautiful game at the time, but forced myself to learn once we got back home and haven't looked back since, absolutely obsessed pretty much sums it up!

I largely play at PKR and tend to do quite well on SnG's rather than ring games. Am learning something new every day, have read a few books as well now and am probably up rather than down overall so far, which isn't bad, although not by a lot.

Anyway, will stop rabbitin on now and look forward to talking to you all.

You're spot on - the site is very new, the main site www.SharkPokerSchool.com has only recently gone live, it's still not quite finished, but the forum is going nicely imho, considering we haven't started our advertising yet, and we aim to have the main site finished and open, and start advertising, within the next week!

And yup, poker is a very addictive hobby, don't expect to get out of its grip once youre hooked lol. The best plan is to improve your game constantly, that way at least you'll be making some decent money from it

Now you're registered here, you'll be eligible for all our opening promotions and the like, more details here soon! Main site content is growing by the day, hopefully you'll find some useful information and reading material there.

How u finding PKR ive never played there, one of my friends plays there and had a lot of success (james666).

Do u play any other sites, Ive been playing on the ipoker network a lot recently to not much avail, Ladbrokes used to be my home but alas they have joined microgaming making the draw to there a little less appealing for me as the blind structure suits me even less. Anyway will stop moaning lol, gl at the tables, nice to meet u .

i tend to have quite mixed success on pkr to be honest, there's a lot of donkeys on there compared to a lot of other sites i think, but i seem to come more unstuck against clueless players than half decent ones, which seems to be the way for most of us against idiots!

have accounts at pokerstars and full tilt, but still find pkr strangely addictive for some reason! they've got their second live festival coming up in april in london, should make for a wicked little weekend. haven't attempted to qualify online yet, but they're runnin some other tournaments there too on the day.

anyway, nice to speak to you bud, cheers for the welcome.

site is looking good already. i look forward to learning from everyone here and then maybe, just maybe i will attempt to crack 100 sng's to see if badbeat fancy a piece of the action.
I guess that could be my shot at the pro life or maybe a nice way to dump a chunk of money
