Forum outing... who fancies it?

Ok then, just to get the ball rolling, who would be up for a trip to DTD in Nottingham?

I'm thinking friday to sunday mbes in April/May?

Everyone to stay in the travelodge down the road, £40 a night ish.

Last time i went to dtd there were 2 or 3 mtts each night, with a range of entrances to suit all wallets, so which actual weekend shouldnt be a problem, tho it would be nice to choose one with a £50/£100 deepstack or something to get our teeth into...

tbh London would be better for me obviously, and edinburgh would be better for others, but at least Nott is fairly central, and dtd was nice, think we should givwe it a go at least once...

my initial reservations on dtd was that it didnt have much to offer once you went out of game - no table games, not much atmosphere etc, but if we could get 10-20 of us that would all change i think, plus the travelodge was fine about us taking over the bar till 6am to play poker lol.

so who is up for it?

The "table games" I was referring to were blackjack, roulette, etc. These usually add a bit of interest and atmosphere to the non-poker side of things, but having given it some thought, I think that with enough of us there we'll be fine!

Ah, I see, they do have that electronic Roulette thingy and a couple of those machines Nick likes.

Only played a couple of those £20 STT's to relax, the first one I was making ridiculous calls and hitting to take 3rd. The second one I took 2nd after going allin on the first hand with Ace King on -

K - Q - Blank

Called by Discord with Aces and by a mug with K - 10

Turn = 10

River = Jack !!

Mr mug was not amused.

Wouldn't know for sure till nearer the time bit i would like to play at this DTD, just need to make sure i have cashflow near the time and get the OK from the other half
