jp kelly's chance of making history

Post  geordieneil on Tue Sep 21, 2010 10:21 am

sps poker mentor jp kelly (aylesbury) is in with a shout of making poker history today, he is currently chip leader of the final table in the wsope event 3 (7 remain), the same title he won last year.

if he wins he will make history in becoming the youngest ever player to win 3 wsop bracelets, beating the relatively unknown PHIL IVEY . he will also become only the 4th player in wsop history to defend their title, only chan, helmouth, johnny moss and the legendry stuey ungar have achieved this.

not only that he has only made 2 f/t's in the wsop and has won them both, if he wins today it will also be a 1st and a perfect 3/3 wins when making f/t.

some achievements by a whippa snapper still only 24
