Players getting better or worse?

Been a few posts recently about the standard of online poker going downhill, with more and more muppets about.

However that doesnt quite make sense. The rate of new players coming to the game has surely slowed down in the last year, so i dont think theres more bad players by any means.

i think the problem is that the majority of the new players over the last few years have got used to the game now, and although they havent improved their game much as such, i think theyve lost the timidness they once had.

this leads to less people folding, and more muffings, hence the more bad players feeling.

Does this mean that the better players will have to tone down their aggression a bit, tighten up, and just overbet their strong hands?

Not so sure mate, I think the loose money has split into a few types of player, gone are the days of a fish simply

"call station limper" few of these at a tab makes every pot a stack or fold situation by the turn card.
which is like trying to dig out a small thorn in your thumb, get there in the end but hard work and painful.

"stop go donk" no need to explain this cleaver little chappy, he read somewhere 80% of flops are missed !

and of cause with this special type of fool, abuse them relentlessly in the chat window if they muff ya

I recently witnessed a muppet call a serious allin with A6o at a Laddies tbl. He defended the stick he got with the Doyle Brunson T2 hand. PMSL i ruined my favourite chair lol

Thankfully I wasnt in the hand.

Perhaps we can add the Donk Doyle to the Coinflip Gus or could the be the same? maybe actually the same bloke lol
