HU games

Anyone play much HU games at all??

If so how well do you do in them or whats your experiences of them??

I think kunk wud be the best person to answer this post(he does quite well in them )

i like hu stts but the main issue i have with them is that i find it hard to play more than 2 at once, whereas with 6/10 man stts i can happily play 4 or 5.

also, it's very important to pick the right opponent - make sure you notice the weak players when you beat them, and find them again!

Hi i play a bit of HU stt but i wouldn't consider myself shit hot at it, think im a lot better at HU cash however i am still pretty good. What is the question, maybe i can help?

It was just a general question really, like what type of strategy u use with them etc...

well you could read books if its that general!

The strategy i used when i won the HU in australia was to play mostly in position (80% + of buttons), pretty tight from BB and keep pots small by min raising instead of 2x raising from the button.

I min raised a lot from button which gives them good odds to call from BB but they are constantly playing OOP which gave me a little edge... Against awesome players who can read well enough to make playing them in position redundant min raising is obviously futile.

That was the basic strategy i used i guess...

main problem i have with heads up is that i cant play more than 2 - with 10 seaters ill happily play 5 or 6, but heads up my brain melts with 3 lol.
