PokerStars Account Hacked

Hi, finally decided to join the masses and open a pokerstars account.
I had a few small but good results and had turned my initial $10 deposit into approx $46 which i was happy with for a recreational player only using the site for 2 weeks.

My last game on sunday evening was a $6 6 seater game which I won so was happy to turn off my laptop and leave my poker until tomorrow.

I logged on at 9 o clock on monday morning(as im currently on sick leave..lol) and my account was on $0.10c my whole account had been emptied.

I requested tourney history and cash history and apparantly I was playing 25-50c cash and a few $12 sng's at 5 this morning.....lol

There was also 2 cash transfers into my account one for $10 and one for $0.10c.
My question is has any one else ever had this done to them and how was it resolved??? I have contacted stars and they have frozen my account to investigate.

To be honest i am fucking fuming....lol

As I said has any1 else experienced anything simular even on stars or anyother site.???

now that is strange!!

Ive never had anything like that happen to me, but a few of my m8s have - and every time it was the same answer... their m8/brother/cat/sister/grandad/budgie had loaded it up and had a go.

Strange tho with the transfers into your account? Not quite sure why someone would do that.

On the brightside - Pokerstars have one of the best and quickest customer care departments, and im sure theyll sort out what happened - keep is informed.

Hope you get your cash back asap!

Been playing on stars myself for about 5 years. Never had it happen to me but i do remember Greg raymer had his account hacked a couple of year's ago. hope they find who is responsible. Hope it get's sorted for you. After thought, mabe you need a stronger password.

This happened to me while playing for a sponcer, my mentor noticed in my hand history that someone had played 4 hands of omaha cash in the early hours of the morning and lost something like 75 dollars. Lucky for me he believed me when I said it was not me and I dont play omaha either and never cash for them.. I think I know who it was but have no proof, got my password changed and it never happened again.

Hay Madge did you ever find out what happened??
