new TV series worth a watch...

well, new to me anyway.

I remember someone asking about box sets / tv shows that were worth watching, just discovered one this evening - Fringe. Quite like X-Files, but more science-y, and very very good viewing

Series 1 box set is out now on DVD, about 20 episodes, but for virgin customers theyre available on catch up for free - Just watched the first episode earlier, and had to watch the next 4 as well lol. Now Jens gone to bed (she is up early for work) and I have to wait till tommorrow to watch some more... grrr!!!

I know I shouldn't be typing while playing but I started watching The Sopranos on Virgin on demand. I heard lots of guys talking about it but I had never seen one episode.

Virgin have shown series 1 & 2 so far and they have put on the first 4 episodes of series 3.

Don't know if anyone has watched them, if so please dont tell me anything.

Got to say it's a brilliant series.

Well so far, I'm liking Fringe a lot more than i did sopranos... first episode is a real hook! thats got to be your next virgin on demand choice

Yeah i have watched the first series of this and have started the second (just started on sky). Great series for x-files fans although some of it is way out there.

The new stargate has also started and is addictive viewing. Robert Carlisle and a few other decent actors in it so keep an eye out for that one but you gotta start at the start with this series.

I recomend the inbetweeners. funniest british show ever.

"Fringe" is simply brilliant, another J.J. Abram's classic with a fine developing plot.

Warning, show contains "Spock".

Looks like Fringe will be my next one to have a look at.

The Stargate thing was something I thought I may like but I never made it past the original film for some reason.

Nor did i lad but this new one is really much better and i have high hopes for it. I'll let ya know how it goes at the end of the series

inbetweeners and fringe are both very good. Skins is also excellent, new series of that soon too )
