Ok i'll throw a few of my recent results out there. I'm a stt player and a small Mtt player. Would love some help for larger mtt's. I have in past dealt with Jon and he is nothing less than a top man. So I am looking forward to being active on the forum and learning from anyone I can. Cheers

Hi there Neg, some nice stt wins there, gd stuff!

A lot of players find it difficult to play larger mtts, and prefer to concentrate on stts or small field mtts, this is usually due to not being able to see the finish line from the start, winning a large field mtt seems so far away when you start that a lot of people lose focus. Its important to maintain concentration and take the game one hand at a time.

I'd advise not looking at the lobby for your tournament, who cares that the chippy has 4,000,000 chips and youre 126/540 runners, the important factors are your stack, the blinds, the structure, and your tables stacks, and you dont need the lobby for this. Its just demoralising at times. Youre not playing against 1000 people, youre playing against the people on your table, so whther theres 20 other people or 2000 it doesnt matter.

Tx for your input, and I hope our mentor team and community can help improve your long game!

Thanks Rick, your right I hate looking in the lobby. I do fine for about 2 1/2 hours in and then seem to lose focus and like cinderella at midnight my coach doesnt turn into a pumpkin but i turn into a donkey. Hope this site can help. I enjoyed when i played Jon and John and I am certain with the ppl on board this forum it can be something great for all players involved. Keep well and thanks for the input.

    79635801 Feb 10 13:12ET $28 + $2 Sit & Go (Super Turbo) $28.00 + $2 9 1 $126
    79631656 Feb 10 12:29ET $55 + $5 Sit & Go (Turbo) $55.00 + $5 9 1 $247.50

I hate playing turbo's with multiple tables but I felt with single tables I could control the action much better and keep some of the other players in check. I noticed another thread "less is better" i think it was called. I feel there is good value in slowly climbing up in money instead of trying to hit a big score now and again, atleast for my current game right now anyways. Cheers

    Mike
