played the FTOPS hilo knockout $240 the other night.

1400 runners, and just the $40 knockout bounty was enuf to turn it onto a complete donkfest.

wont bore you with the details, fastforward to 500 left and i've just been muffed, down to 6k, blinds are 500/1k.

Find 2356 ds in mid pos, and when it folds to me im happy to commit, and put in max raise of 3500.

Next guy to act thinks for a min, then reraises pot, bout 13k total, from his 25k stack.

This doesnt look good, but if he's playing AAxx then ive got a decent chance, esp if he has high cards with his aces. If he has A23 etc im in deep doo.

Anyway im obv committed, so my other 2.5k goes in, and we have a 13.5k pot.

He flips over ....

I havent laughed so much over a play in years.

Amazingly, I manage to "muff" his AAAA, scoop, and im back in with a shout. unfortunately i get quartered with AA37 against AA49 5 mins later, then run A3QQ into AA22, and dont make the top 162 for a cash.

But i honestly didnt care at all, still laughing over the AAAA guy

AA23 double suited is fantastic


AAAA is as dead a hand as possible worst being KKKK, no room to improve other than what the board offers up

I love stuff like that. I tend to take screenshots of my favourite donkey calls. I plan to make them all into a quilt one day and send to a donkey sanctuary to keep them warm at night.

(BTW: Anyone know how to sew screenshots together?)

Also: Perhaps a 'Legedary Calls' screen shot gallery would plump up the forum. We could ever pick the best one each month and transfer $1 to that player's account with no explanation.
