429 runners and ive made it to the FT

Sat in 7th on 57k...

Got yer table open m8. Get it done. wp to here tho

Finished 8th....got sucked by a lucky flop

As for going out...i think im happy with getting beat by quads, atleast it wasn't a donk hand...

Exceedingly wp Danny! I don't care HOW long you have been playing the game m8, cashing in a 400+ MTT takes a good degree of skill. It's possible to get there through luck of course but you have shown in your short time playing the game that you can cash in games that take (as Rick pointed out) patience. You play the high stack regularly and have cashed in that a good % of the time.

You may think it's an easy thing to do or that it's done regularly because you haven't played the game for a long time. But I have to tell you it's NOT easy to cash in high stacks for an average player as it does take concentration, patience allied with good card playing ability.

The fact you are new to the game and have managed this as well as today's very creditable finish in a large field MTT tells me that you have the potential to become a very good MTT player in the future. Keep up the good play m8 and you will have a profitable time playing a great game.

I get what ya saying and i agree with rick and yourself. Patience was the key to such a successful game there for me.

I was well chuffed to make it to 3 hrs, but then the last 20 i tightened up so much it was time to sit and wait, i got a few top hands and built up my stack to 4/5th place.

Sat back and let the small stacks battle it out, knowing that they would kill each other off and lower the field to 10 and the FT

Once on the ft i doubled to 96k, then ran into quads...which i gotta say the bloke played well, and it helped that i bet it all the way!! doh! (more experience will give me a better view on it next time)

But to finish like i did, made me proud.
i love the mtt's and as u know, the H/S is my mtt of choice, and again as u noted, i cash out on virtually everyone i have played in my 5mths on playing poker.

Just the elusive 1st is decieving me!!! (it will come)

Just gotta keep my flow going and play my own game.

Im working an awful lot now till the end of jan so i wont be on as much, HOWEVER when i do get a day off im plowing my full concentration into nailing one of these mtts and getting that crown i fully deserve.

Sorry, not had much time to be on forum so only just seen this but congrats, mate and vwp. You are doing really well as Kenny and Rick have put it, far better than I can, so keep it up and hope you manage to play a bit whilst the work is heavy to keep your hand in and continue building on your learning experience.

Thank you for your kind words, perhaps the odd day here and there will prevent me frm being bored all day on lenghty mtts so by doing one full day (instead of a full week) my patience will be more refined...

Im at it again probs next weekend so fingers crossed i can nail the £5 hs and another in the weekend.

P.s i have seen you play hun, and in my amateur opinion your very much like me and therefore definatley have the ability to grab the female crown in any game you play....do what u tell me..persistance and self belief :-) i believe u can do it.
