Any tips for playing cash?

Having a dabble at cash, anyone got any good hits or tips?

I just dont understand how to play.

Bankroll management is critical for cash play.

No matter how much you feel your crushing a level dont move up unless you have 2000bb min and once at 2/4 i'd say 4000bb the swings can be brutal, if by chance you move to PLO cash double these numbers as the volume to flop seen is far greater.

Learn to multi table, sooner rather than later but also know your limit of tabs you can run and never stretch past this, if on a good day best way to try a new level is throw one in while still running normal level.

Try not to play short stack poker, yes this can profitable for the right player but a hugh leak other wise.

MOST IMPORTANT: Get a good rakeback deal

wise words... id also add the following - Table selection - watch tables before you play.

This is something that most mtt players dont consider enough when trying cash games, as theyre used to just playing against whoever they are randomly seated with. In cash however you can pick and choose your table, and also watch the table for a while before you play.

Imagine 2 guys on a table are playing super loose, raising and reraising nearly every pot. If you just sit straight down without watching, you wont know this, and wont adjust your game. If you watch for 15 mins first, you'll notice this and may be able to capitalise on it, or choose a different less volatile table if u wish.

Or if someone is playing super tight, and doesnt play a pot for the 15 mins your watching - you know that if you get involved in a pot against him he's liable to be very strong, something you wouldnt of noticed had you just sat str8 down.

id try fixed limit cash. good fun, get to play a few more hands, and its pretty low risk.
