After reading all of the other thread, which I was about to reply to until it was locked, I can only agree with Rick and Ken here and say "ul".
I think you played the hand extremely well. After the amount of chips you made him pay when he does his piss-ant flop stopper bet, he's the fool for calling. His RR on the turn - as if you're ever going to fold anything other than 22 etc!
Keep playing it that way Danny. Yes, sometimes he'll have KJ and look like god, other times AK and you'd win, other times trips and all sorts. I too would have gladly passed my chips over had he shown KJ.
As for the rest of it, Danny. You know I like you fella, I think you bring a lot to this forum. I see 100s of people the same, starting out and posting as you do. All I'd say is that the experienced posters/players should realise this and treat you with kid gloves, but by me posting this, you need to realise that if they have to treat you like someone quite immature, then you need to change that. Read all the replies. Learn something about odds and RnG etc. If you don't, it will drive you crazy. You really need to understand that Ladbrokes or whoever is not out to get you. The shuffle at Ladbrokes is far more random than any live shuffle. We all get beats, we get them live and online. I've stopped playing much online, not because I think it's rigged, but because I don't get the same enjoyment I do as playing live. Plus, with the new hyper-aggressive online players, playing live they have to look at you and call your huge bets looking silly if they fail. If they do it online, no one is there to see them.
Please please heed some advice, learn a little more, understand you're a newbie and you will excel, I'm sure.

i called as i was on tilt for half hour, went into that game as it was a low buy in, just to vent my frustration, unfortunate that you happend to sit next to me.

So it's ok if you go on tilt and play stupid hands but if someone else does it the whole site is full of donks?
You need to relax more and roll with the punches. Once you realise that nothing is different from site to site you will start to progress more with your game.
The only thing that changes from one site to another is the choice of games they have available. The standard is the same.
I've said this next bit before. The only time I have ever noticed a marked difference in quality at a site was a good few years ago on Ladbrokes playing MTT's. I'm sure Rick will back me up on this. There were a lot of very good MTT players packed into a small site.
So my advice Danny is

Off topic slightly (sorry, Danny), I can't find the thread right now, Khenny, sorry but this is exactly the kind of thing I was talking about in our discussion on why someone suddenly goes off and plays ridiculous (in the eye of the other player) hands at absurd stages.
I've seen this so many times. I actually don't mind Danny's play here as I've often done it when on tilt. Of course it's not a winning play, but it certainly helps me, many times, from going ballistic and taking it out on those I love. Why do that when I can take it out on, what is in reality to me at the time, a faceless stupid game.
Especially a game with other mates in, as that just makes it all the more funny

Just because playing a poor hand makes you feel better doesn't mean to say the play was ok Vad. The play was poor regardless of the individuals state of mind when he played it. Poor play is poor play and it doesn't really matter what colour of shiny paper you wrap it up in.
That's not to say I don't do it myself mind you.
And it's poor play when I do it too.

I don't believe that's my point. I never said it wasn't did I? Of course it's bad play, that's why I said to Danny I don't mind it but we'd lose money doing it.
The point was that it happens, and is "most likely" because of what I and Danny said, not simply because th player is poor or is a fish.

And i dont think swish was doing it to fuel other peoples views, he was doing it to highlight the fact that you play like a muff occasionally too, so you should be able to understand it when other peeps do it too.
