Off to Gala casino tonight

To be fair I have played up in Scotland at the Gala Maybury, nice decor and I even won myself some money.

Only downside was I got paid in that funny "Monopoly" money you lot use.

Used to play in the Maybury also and had a few final tables there but stopped going when the Edinburgh Circus opened at fountainbridge. As for the Monopoly money...

Would be nice to meet up for the Saturday event m8 although I warn you here and now I do have a few Saturdays booked between now and Xmas so don't be offended if you propose a date and I can't make it.

General standard of casino/pub/club play is fairly low, tho there's always a few good sharks, and spotting these early is usually a good plan. As a general tip, people who start quoting odds (like "I was 75% to win there" etc) are usually internet players, and have slightly more clue, just from practice.

I don't usually notice a lot of difference in the standard between rebuys and frzouts, tho 2 important points...

1. early stages of a rebuy are generally mental. I wouldnt ever go to a rebuy live without planning on at least a couple of rebuys. If you want to play it as a frz you may as well hit the bar for the first 15 mins.

2. One thing that rebuys do mean is that after the break there'll be a lot more chips in play, usually meaning that there's a lot more play in the game, and it's a lot less bingoey
