Personally i like something a bit chilled, like counting crows or five for fighting. If i get deep in an mtt tho, I generally switch to something a bit more angry to up the aggression levels.. Linkin Park and Green Day do the job....

Re: poker music
I have a pretty wide range and don't really have one kind I prefer over the other. My range is from Enya................ (stop snickering back there Wild!)
to Slipknot. In between them are AC/DC, Rush, Led Zep, Heart, Gwen Stefani (solo as well as with No Doubt) UFO, U2 and stacks more. Also love loads of the new stuff kickin around too.

Re: poker music
At the start of a session I'll normally have The Kinks, Roger Waters, Robert Miles, Fleetwood Mac, Stone Roses, Miriam Stockley or The Verve. Once I'm settled its Faithless, Sash, TTF or any Clubland.
If Crowfoots on the premises its Spirit of the Glen, Scottish Clubland or Runrig. ( Check Facebook and you'll know why)

Re: poker music
Apparently, Enya joined "Clannad" which was composed of her family members in 1980 and left in 1982.
You're both right.

Re: poker music
more like the results of a Mick Hucknall / Bill Bailey / Eddie Izzard menage a trois.
But he is most certainly v.amusing, and defiitely worth more than 7/10, shame on you both. There's definitely funnier songs of his, "fck the poor" and "if you open your mind too much" imparticular, but i dont find them as tuneful Well worth a youtube search tho. Oh and try "rock and roll nerd" whilst youre there...
And yes he is from "down under" as the locals say. Thats my locals obviously. The ones in australia would just say "he's from here" .
