I made ft in the short handed deep stack on Betsafe last night

$20 buy in, 3000 chips and 12 minute blinds which gives you plenty of time at the start to have a go at stack building without to much risk to your tournament.

Finished 4th but interested to see what you would have done here....

I am sat with 200k and on the bb with A 9 Spades and blinds are 8000/16000

sb shoves when it is folded around to him for 140k

tough spot I felt I was ahead but was I racing for a big pot which left me very short or fold and wait for a better spot, I was after all stealing blinds at will on this table.

Id probably fold if there all playing really tight. But for some reason im getting the feeling you should call couldn't explain why though.

what stacks did the other 2 peeps have?

the other guys had 330k and 350k

it was a case of all in or fold from the sb shover - no raises or re-raises it was all in pre flop every time

My instinct told me that I was ahead so i called....

Even tho it was a massive chunk of my stack, but I was right as he flipped ace 8

8 on the turn wasn't very nice tho lol

i mean't i should call but it was him so it came out you lol should trust my guts more though and called as he was ahead preflop. But yeah seriously good run at the mommen't.
