So WWYD? The guy has been super loose, previous hand called a 5XBB pre-flop raise with K5 plus some other very loose calls. I was pretty sure he didn't have an ace here

why call in the 1st place with a maniac to play. if l made ur play l'd have called

if l think l'm behind l'll fold pre flop, tried the odds thing pre and lost my game for a while.

Initially he has a look with suited connectors and calls for 40. By the time it gets back to him (hes last to call the raiser) the pot is somewhere near 800 and he only has to put in 120 more. You would have folded????????

Add to that he has more outs than one of Eltons parties.......................

I lump here against a guy I have covered in a rebuy mtt.

Hmm one of my fave hands suited 1 gappers that run odd numbers..

I certainly would have flipped in a limp to the flop like you did and with the raise and calls then great value for another 120, monster flop for your hand IMO, with 3 checks before you and the original raiser Cbetting in last pos i'd bee looking at him on AT+ may be AA (we can hope) i'd expect an AJ+ in one of the checkers before you this is a slight pain as it's one of your outs may be an over flush KQh ish, so i'd hope for a flat call to his 800 raise not essential for my play but makes the pot sweeter...and think ya know whats comming I'M ALL IN...the guys pretty much committed and will chase his hand but wit any 6,J or heart i'll flip for it and you cover his stack, the danger player is "tescoAAA" he likes to flat with AQ AK but thats fine here and if i didn't catch 3 way i'd be disapointed

facts:

awesome flop for you with loads of outs
quite possible the guy is bluffing
if you call you are probably favourite against top pair
if you lose the hand you still have roughly 2k left
lots of play left in the tourny

Given all of the above I would re-raise all in to isolate the situation, you can't fold to a re-re-raise all in as you are so committed into this pot and you re-raising all in looks very strong.

Interesting post, but a thing to consider is that it is a $5 buy in mtt, and without sounding offensive you can easily give opponents too much respect in these tournaments...

As ypu guys say, pretty awesome flop and other than 779 799 777 or 999 couldnt ask for much more... well maybe

Firstly I didn't think he had an ace so if I re-raised him he might at least put me on one and therefore fold 2nd pair. Was wanting to check raise, thought it looked strong, opponent bviously didn't think so! Even if he has an ace or any other pair I am still liking my odds, even after the turn I'm still liking my chances.

Just posted this question as the guy said to me 'I knew you were flush drawing' and I wondered if the way I played the hand made it that obvious? A few hands later I realised the guy was clueless when I knocked him out in the following hand. I have to post the hand so you can see just how unbelievably awful he was

played it fine imho, once youve limped pre you have to call the raise, and a check raise shove on the flop is great.

When he says "I knew you were flush drawin" he actually means "I hoped to fck you were flush drawin cos i couldnt beat anything else". Just ul.

Nice exit for him tho haha.

Overall opinion is you played it correctly m8. Fooking hilarious hand he lumped with! Revenge is so sweet.

I guess he didn't stick around long enough to tell you what he thought about how you played the second hand!!
